A New Classroom for Tenderfeet

Tenderfeet has been blessed by a new classroom building, sponsored by generous donors in Australia. This building allows Tenderfeet to educate children all the way to the eighth grade (called “Standard Eight” in Kenya).

Altogether, Tenderfeet now has over 160 students, ranging from 2 years old to 13.  Two years of pre-school are included as well.

The new classrooms are larger in size than the others, to accommodate kids who are growing big.

Tenderfeet is also fortunate to get funding for new desks.

These desks are large enough for the older students to study properly and are much nicer than the old bench-style desks the students used.

In the past, when Tenderfeet was only able to support children up to grades 3 or 4, older kids would often not be able to find a school due to the costs involved.

It is a great relief that we can now continue to educate these children up to the eighth grade!
